The Color Run: Pittsburgh

This Saturday (November 15), myself and 14 of my closest friends made a team and ran in The Color Run. I've done several 5Ks in the past, but none quite like this. It was below freezing that morning when we arrived at the run. But no one seemed to notice. Our team was made up of people of varying experience levels. Everyone, whether they walked the whole thing or ran it, had a really great time. No matter what your ability level, you're guaranteed to have fun! Everyone should give this one a try. It's not called the "Happiest 5K on Earth" for no reason!

  1. This race sounds like alot of fun! I did my first 5k last semester and it was freezing too! I remember everyone jumping around trying to keep warm. It was tough running in the cold. I want to try and do a color run next year for sure. I'm going to make sure I sign up for it!

  2. This sounds awesome! I've heard lots of great things about Color Runs. I hope to participate in one in the near future. Hopefully after the Pittsburgh Marathon relay I'll actually be prepared to do so! It's good to know that walking is acceptable too though!
